College Essay #21 - Jogging

186) Jogging has become extremely popular. Explain why you jog or why you don't.

Any day I would prefer jogging to running. Firstly, you need stamina to run, which I don’t have but jogging is less tiring as it does not require too much stamina. When I go home for holidays, I make sure that I go to the neighborhood park to jog. In the evenings I jog 2.5km which is two laps of the park. I do this regularly at home because, the delicious home made food makes me fat really fast. I love to eat as long as I can maintain my figure.
Jogging is generally good for a person as it keeps your heart running at a constant pace. I love jogging because it is a time for my own. When I jog in the green park near my house I can have a time to reflect about my life problems. There are a lot of things that revolve inside my head. While jogging I can take out all my tensions and all the issues that I am facing in an optimistic manner. I love jogging because it’s not like running, I can take my time and jog according to a pace which suits me. If I jog everyday I don’t feel very conscious about my weight. I eat more when I jog. As long as I jog I have no problem eating whatsoever.
As long as I continue this good habit that has been with me for years, I have no problem with anything. I will have a positive side with me. I know that I will be fit and that I will have fewer health problems later in life. Just imagine a person being a couch potato in front of the TV, he or she will regret not exercising in the early age.
I believe that if I jog everyday I will be able to build stamina fairly quickly, which will then lead to, me becoming a good runner.
