123. How do you feel about Wednesday? (U of Chicago
Wednesday is a day I look forward to because I get all geared up for the weekend which waits for me. Monday is the start of a week and students my age dislike this day as it marks the start of a new academic week. Tuesday, is a day when I am concentrating on finishing all my work, as I am already engrossed in my texts.
Finally Wednesday, is a day which is in the middle of a week, I tend to get stressed as there is too much homework however, not to forget the thought of the weekend coming closer, gets me motivated to finish my work so I can have a relaxing yet a fun weekend.
December 25th is a day I am always excited for, because I look forward to attending the joyous Christmas carnivals which are scattered all over my hometown. When I was six years old, Christmas happened to be on a Wednesday. That morning as I started to feel uncomfortable on my bed I woke up with a startling jerk. Suddenly, I noticed bright and shiny colors which struck my eyes. I took a closer look at it and I realized that I was surrounded by gifts. Ever since that day I feel as though Wednesday has been a special day for me and I believe that Wednesday might hold something special for me in the near future.
Wednesday for me is also an auspicious day since I am born a Hindu. It is a day that is dedicated to Lord Krishna, one of the God’s that is liked the most by children. In some places Lord Vishnu is worshipped on Wednesday and many Hindu holy songs are sung in order to praise the God on Wednesday. Therefore, Wednesday also holds an auspicious value in my heart.
